This weeks Thursday Thoughts!

In this weeks Thursday Thoughts, we broadcast LIVE over Facebook, YouTube and our own website – attracting viewers from all around the world – our major topic was answering a question around the S1000D Process Module

What did we discuss this week?

Industry and Member news

Industry news including Airbus job threats, GPSL webinar series around PTC Windchill and supporting legacy S1000D project, WebX Systems job opportunity, CDS Defence Support and the Army v Navy rugby match.

In the news we also discussed the newly released and updated TD-iQ course on Effective Data Reuse in S1000D – the release date and how TD-iQ subscribers can access the full course.

Questions answered – S1000D Process Module and more

TDW received a number of questions this last week:

  • When will TDWLive#8 registration open?
  • Will we be releasing more STE based training?
  • Just what is the point of S1000D?
  • The main question Mike answered was around the S1000D Process Module, a question that came into us here at TDW from a TD-iQ subscriber – “should we be using the S1000D process module” Mike spent time giving some examples of how the Process Module can work and how it can be a real challenge in implementing information using the S1000D Process Module
